I decided to upload to my blog yesterday and put it into practice. However, I can still see that what I write in my diary is quite immature. I don’t know how to make it better. I just think it’s important to keep going.
Maybe it’s because I haven’t considered the audience, but I think my writing is immature. First, I’ve decided to keep a diary in Japanese, and then I plan to translate it. By continuing, I think I’ll be able to tell whether this is good or bad. Up to this point, I thought it would be better to include both English and Japanese texts.
昨日、ブログにアップしようと思い立ち、実践してみました。でも、日記に書く内容がまだまだ未熟なのが分かります。どうすれば良くなるのか、まだ分かりません。とにかく続けることが大切だと思っています。
読む人のことを考えていないからかもしれませんが、文章が未熟だと思います。まずは日本語で日記をつけ、その後翻訳しようと思っています。続けることで、これが良いのか悪いのかが分かると思います。今のところ、英語と日本語の両方の文章を入れた方が良いと思っていました。

My wife continues to listen to radio English conversation. I don’t intend to deny it, but from the perspective of learning English, I feel a sense of discomfort. Knowing about DRAWER, I increasingly find myself unable to recognize radio English conversation as a learning method. I believe it is better to learn how to convey what I want to say in English, and that interpreting English sentences into Japanese may not have much meaning.
However, I felt that by listing both English and Japanese on this site, I was ultimately doing the same thing as learning English through radio conversations.
私の妻はラジオ英会話を聞き続けています。私はそれを否定するつもりはないのですが、英語を学ぶという視点で見ると、違和感を感じるのです。DRAWERを知って、ますます、学習法として、ラジオ英会話を認めない自分がいます。自分の伝えたいことを英語で伝えるにはどうしたら良いかという学び方が良くて、英文を和文翻訳して解釈するようなことにあまり意味はないのではないでしょうか。
しかし、このサイトで、このように英文と和文を併記することは、結果的にラジオ英会話の学びと同じことをしているように感じました。

Recently, I was listening to a CD I got from an old friend while reading a book they gave me. I reached out again to express my gratitude. Today, I received a new book from that person in the mail. I’m really grateful. I realized once again how important it is to cherish long-standing connections.

Today, my wife said she’s going to visit her mother with her sisters, and afterward, they’re going to have a meal after a walk in the park. In the meantime, I plan to do various office tasks. I’m glad I set up this system for translating English to Japanese this morning.
